CCTV News:In terms of infrastructure renovation, the implementation of capacity expansion projects at ports such as Alashankou, Horgos, and Manzhouli has led to an increase in the average daily volume of the China-Europe Railway Express across all channels this year.
In terms of capacity expansion, ports such as Horgos Station, Manzhouli Station, and Erenhot Station have increased their capacity for daily import container transshipment or handover by adding border parking inspection points and adjusting arrival and departure lines.
In addition, by coordinating the simultaneous enhancement of infrastructure capabilities at overseas railways and ports, the capacity of the China-Europe Railway Express's domestic and international channels is steadily improving. From January to July this year, the average daily volume of the China-Europe Railway Express's western, central, and eastern channels increased by 18.3%, 17.7%, and 36.5% respectively compared to the pre-expansion year of 2020.
In terms of transportation organization, the current ratio of return trips to outbound trips for the China-Europe Railway Express has reached 88%, an increase of 6% year-on-year; the comprehensive heavy container rate for round trips has remained above 98% from last year to this year, which helps ensure the stability and smoothness of the international supply chain.
